Agreement
These Terms are between you and Prodigy-AI, the developer and provider of OffHours. By checking the consent box, continuing setup, purchasing a plan, or using OffHours, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18, legally capable of agreeing, and permitted to use OffHours where you live. If you do not agree, do not use OffHours. Contact: support@offhours.cloud.
Service
OffHours is an on-device Android notification-management tool. It attempts to identify user-selected Gmail accounts and work apps and to remove, cancel, snooze, allow, or summarize eligible notifications according to your settings. Source apps remain installed and may continue syncing. OffHours acts only after a source app posts an Android notification; it does not block server push delivery, sign in to a mailbox or work service, alter underlying messages, prevent you from opening an app, or replace the source app.
Android and compatibility limitations
Notification behavior depends on Android, device and work-profile policies, source apps, notification formats, permissions, background restrictions, battery settings, storage, connectivity, clock, time zone, and software updates. Gmail account routing uses notification information supplied by Android and Gmail, which is not a guaranteed public account-level interface. OffHours may allow an unidentified Gmail notification for safety, may be unable to manage protected or ongoing system notifications, and cannot guarantee that a notification will be detected, quieted, restored, displayed once, or displayed at a particular time. Protection Health and calibration are diagnostic aids, not guarantees.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for selecting sources, account labels, schedules, privacy choices, exceptions, permissions, battery settings, device and account security, updates, exported diagnostics, and all activity through your device. Review Protection Health and verify your settings after device, app, account, clock, time-zone, profile, permission, or software changes. Check source apps directly for complete information. Do not rely on OffHours for emergency, medical, safety, legal, financial, security, employment, compliance, or other time-sensitive communications. To the extent permitted by law, you accept the risk that alerts may be missed, delayed, duplicated, quieted unexpectedly, or displayed unexpectedly.
Smart Exceptions
Smart Exceptions is optional and requires your express opt-in before OffHours inspects sender, title, or notification text for VIP, domain, keyword, or repeated-contact matching. Matching is a convenience feature based on notification information supplied by the source app. It does not verify identity, domain authentication, message authenticity, urgency, intent, or safety and is not a spam, phishing, malware, emergency, or security control. You can turn Smart Exceptions off at any time.
License and acceptable use
Subject to these Terms, Prodigy-AI grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license for lawful use on devices you own or control. Do not misuse OffHours, interfere with its operation or security, bypass purchase or distribution controls, gain unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, use it to violate another person's rights or applicable law, or redistribute, sell, modify, or reverse engineer it, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits an activity despite this restriction.
Google Play plans and purchases
Paid plans, when offered, are sold and automatically renewed by Google Play at the localized price, currency, billing period, tax, trial, and offer terms shown before purchase unless cancelled before renewal. Manage or cancel at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions. Cancellation normally stops a future renewal while access continues through the paid period; eligibility for a refund is determined under Google Play policy and applicable law. Uninstalling OffHours does not cancel a plan. Reinstalling from Google Play with the purchasing Google account can restore access only after Google Play confirms an active entitlement; local settings may not be restored. Expiry, payment failure, account hold, refund, chargeback, revocation, or an inability to confirm entitlement may limit paid features, subject to any temporary offline grace behavior. Google Play processes billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds; Prodigy-AI does not separately collect subscription payments or full card details. Third-party services
Android, Google Play, Gmail, and selected work apps are independently provided under their own terms and privacy policies. Prodigy-AI is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google or the providers of supported work apps unless expressly stated. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, account decisions, outages, notification formats, security, data practices, policy changes, or continued availability. References to product names identify compatibility only.
Privacy and exported information
The Privacy Policy explains OffHours' local processing, Smart Exceptions, diagnostics, retention, deletion, and Google Play data handling. You control whether to enable Smart Exceptions and whether and where to export diagnostics. Protect exported files and review them before sharing. Information sent to a support address, export destination, source app, Android, or Google is handled by that recipient under its own terms and policies.
Updates and termination
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features for operational, legal, platform, compatibility, privacy, or security reasons and may restrict access for material breach, unlawful or abusive use, fraud, or a security risk. Updates may change compatibility or require renewed permissions or consent. You may stop using OffHours at any time; cancelling a Google Play plan is a separate action. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
Warranty disclaimer
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OFFHOURS IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, COMPATIBILITY, OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. We do not warrant that any notification will be identified, allowed, quieted, restored, or displayed. Non-waivable warranties and consumer guarantees remain unaffected.
Liability limits
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRODIGY-AI AND ITS OWNERS, PERSONNEL, AFFILIATES, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST DATA, PROFITS, GOODWILL, OPPORTUNITIES, BUSINESS, OR MISSED OR DELAYED COMMUNICATIONS. TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM OFFHOURS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR OFFHOURS DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR US$100 (OR LOCAL EQUIVALENT). These limits do not apply where applicable law prohibits them, including to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify and hold harmless Prodigy-AI and its owners, personnel, affiliates, and licensors from third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising directly from your unlawful or intentional misuse of OffHours or infringement of another person's rights, except to the extent caused by our breach, negligence, or misconduct. This section does not require a consumer to indemnify a party where applicable law prohibits it.
General terms
If a provision is unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent and the remaining provisions will continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a reorganization, financing, sale, or transfer of OffHours, subject to applicable law. Applicable law and courts are determined by otherwise applicable rules, and mandatory consumer protections and home-court rights remain unaffected.
Changes and contact
