Getting started

Install OffHours from Google Play, choose your Gmail accounts and compatible installed work apps, set your quiet hours, and grant Android Notification Access. Free protects all Gmail accounts and one additional work app on one shared schedule.

Notifications are still coming through

Check that protection and the relevant schedule are enabled, that today's day and time are included, and that the source is selected for quieting. Confirm Notification Access is still granted. On some Android devices, you also need to allow background activity or choose Unrestricted in the app's battery settings. The exact settings screen varies by manufacturer.

Gmail alerts that cannot be attributed to a selected account may be allowed through for safety. Protected system notifications, work-profile policies, and source-app behavior can also limit notification handling.

Quiet Now and your regular schedule

Quiet Now is a temporary pause. End the manual quiet period in OffHours to return to your regular schedule. Your main scheduler setting is separate.

Restore Premium

Use the Google account that purchased your subscription, install OffHours from Google Play, and choose Restore purchases in the Premium screen. Connect to the internet so Google Play can confirm your current entitlement. Test APKs may be separate installations and are not a substitute for the Play Store version.

Cancel a subscription or request a refund

Manage subscriptions through Google Play subscriptions. Uninstalling does not cancel billing. Cancellation normally stops the next renewal while access continues through the paid period. Refund eligibility follows Google Play policy and applicable law.

Update OffHours

Open the OffHours Google Play page and tap Update when an update is available for your device. A staged rollout may reach different devices at different times. Avoid uninstalling to update: uninstalling removes local settings.

Privacy and local data

Notification decisions are processed on your phone. You can manage local data in OffHours settings or revoke Notification Access in Android settings. Clearing app data or uninstalling does not cancel a Google Play subscription. See our Privacy Policy for details.
