Who provides OffHours

Prodigy-AI is the developer and provider of OffHours. Contact: support@offhours.cloud. OffHours does not require an OffHours account and does not sign in to your Gmail mailbox or any selected work app.

Notification access and local processing

Android Notification Access can make posted notification information available to OffHours, including the source app, package, channel, group, account-related routing fields, time, sender, title, and notification text. OffHours processes notification information on this device to identify user-selected Gmail accounts and work apps, apply quiet schedules and manual quiet periods, avoid protected system notifications, and create an optional local digest. OffHours manages a notification only after its source app posts it; it does not stop a provider from sending data to the phone.

Private Protection and Smart Exceptions

Private Protection uses source-app and account-routing information and does not inspect sender names or message text for exception matching. Smart Exceptions is optional and remains off until you enable it. If enabled, OffHours locally inspects notification sender, title, and text only as needed to evaluate VIP addresses, allowed domains, urgent keywords, and repeated-contact rules. This processing stays on the device. Exception matching is best effort and does not authenticate a sender, domain, message, urgency, or safety.

Gmail accounts and mailbox access

When you use Android's Google account chooser, Android provides the selected account name to OffHours so it can create a local Gmail source and attempt account-level notification routing. OffHours does not receive your Google password, request Gmail mailbox OAuth scopes, use the Gmail API, open or download your mailbox, or read messages that Gmail has not posted as Android notifications. Gmail account identification relies on notification fields supplied by Android and Gmail and may be unavailable or uncertain. By default, an unidentified Gmail notification is allowed through for safety.

Information stored locally

OffHours stores your selected sources, Gmail account labels, schedules, assignments, privacy choices, exception rules, routing fingerprints, digest entries, protection-health events, and app settings in app-private storage on this device. Digest retention can be disabled or set to an available period; the default is seven days. Recently seen apps are represented by local package and app-label information and are not marked as work unless you choose them. OffHours minimizes stored notification details and does not place private notification content in diagnostic events.

Local diagnostics and export

Local diagnostics may record privacy-safe operational information such as allowed, quieted, or unresolved counts; listener reconnects; health-check results; last successful decision times; and source package or category. A user-triggered diagnostics export may include device model and Android version. Before export, OffHours is designed to redact email addresses, sender names, notification titles and text, purchase tokens, and other identifiers. You choose the destination through Android; after export, the selected recipient or app controls that copy.

What OffHours does not transmit or track

OffHours does not automatically transmit notification content, selected account names, schedules, exception rules, routing fingerprints, digest entries, or local diagnostics to Prodigy-AI. It contains no third-party behavioral analytics or advertising SDK, does not sell personal information, and does not use notification information for advertising or cross-app profiling. Android, Google Play, selected work apps, and any destination you choose for an export process information independently under their own terms and privacy policies.

Permissions and platform scope

Notification Access is required for notification management and can be revoked in Android settings. Notification permission is used for OffHours status, test, or digest notifications where Android requires it. Google account selection exposes only accounts you explicitly select for OffHours. Quick Settings access is used only if you add the tile. Work-profile behavior depends on Android and the profile administrator and may require OffHours and Notification Access inside that profile. OffHours does not request Gmail mailbox, contacts, location, accessibility-service, or broad installed-app inventory access for V4.

Google Play purchases

When paid plans are available, OffHours communicates with Google Play through the Play Billing Library to request product and current-entitlement information. Google independently processes Google account, device, payment, purchase, licensing, subscription, cancellation, and refund information. Prodigy-AI does not receive full card details. An active entitlement may be evaluated on this device; Google may separately provide transaction information for developer support and administration under Google Play's policies.

Deletion, retention, and your choices

You can clear the digest or local history, turn off Smart Exceptions, change retention, remove a source, revoke permissions, use Delete all local data, clear app storage, or uninstall OffHours. Delete all local data removes OffHours settings and locally stored operational data from this installation; uninstalling also removes app-private local data. Cloud backup and device transfer are disabled. These actions do not cancel a Google Play subscription or delete records held by Google, a selected work app, an export recipient, or a support provider. Manage subscriptions and Google-held records through Google.

Support, security, and rights

If you contact support, Prodigy-AI receives the email address, message, attachments, and other information you choose to send. Support information is retained only as reasonably necessary to answer the request and meet legal or security obligations. OffHours uses Android app-private storage and security controls appropriate to its design, but no device or software can be guaranteed secure. Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning developer-held support information. Contact support@offhours.cloud; direct requests concerning Google-held data to Google.

Children, international use, and changes

OffHours is intended for adults age 18 and older. Google, support providers, selected work apps, and export recipients may process their own information in other countries. Mandatory privacy and consumer rights remain unaffected. A material revision to this policy will have a new effective date and may require renewed consent.
